Game Sprockets provide functionallity required by Descent3ｪ, such as support for joysticks, and sound and video effects. This installer copies Sprocket 1.5 Extensions into your Extensions folder. Existing Sprockets are replaced when they are older than those of the installer, or left alone if newer than those of the installer.
Though collectively called version 1.5, each sprocket class has it's own version number. They are DrawSprocket 1.1.4, InputSprocket 1.4, Net Sprocket 1.1.1, and SoundSprocket 1.0.
Sprockets require Mac OS 7.6.1 or 8.0 or later. Sprockets 1.5 are included with Mac OS 8.6.
